The new Deutsche Fußball-Bund (DFB) and its academy in the Niederrad district of Frankfurt combine administration and sport under one roof.
The net floor plan area of all floors of the building together amounts to 54,763.06 m².
The highest point of the new DFB building is 18.5 meters high, making it only two meters shorter than the Brandenburg Gate. Also, the new DFB building is 307 meters long, which is twice as long as the main nave of Cologne Cathedral.
6,000 tons of steel are needed to make the base of the structure.
345 parking spaces will be built, most of which will be in the multi-story parking lot. 217 bicycle parking spaces are available to employees, guests and visitors.
The construction part that extends over five floors of the future academy alone covers 49,365 square meters.
