The building complex, designed in the shape of the letter U, is a four-story building toward the streets, and a five-story building toward Anzinger Street. The overall concept of the block with an open central courtyard enables a functional, optimized, and sustainable arrangement of functional areas. Natural building and facade materials, solid construction details, and climate-sensitive orientation of the building with intelligent construction technology ensure sustainability. The new fire station number 5 is the second main station of the professional fire department in Munich outside the old town.
